This access point is along the north side of US Hwy 101, opposite Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Headquarters in Blyn. There is ample parking with designated handicapped parking, as well as restrooms. Access to the trail is at the west end of the parking area. The trail eastward runs around the tribal parking area and continues for about 1 mile to its current end along Old Blyn Hwy. To the west it slopes gently down to the Old Blyn Hwy. It then uses the road surface for about 0.5 miles before the separated paved trail resumes.
I do not recommend trying if you're in a large Class A. PARK FEATURES Dosewallips State Park is a 1,064-acre, year-round camping park with 5 miles of shoreline on Hood Canal and the Dosewallips River. All camp areas are grassy and located in scenic, rustic settings. Klahowya Campground is one of the lesser-known Lake Crescent camping options. This is likely because it is located about 10 minutes from the lake along the lovely Sol Duc River and Highway 101.

Food and drinks were served efficiently and tasted delicious. We ordered the garlic bread and linguine boscaiola. We will eat here again when visiting Sydney Olympic Park and will definitely prebook when there’s big events on to avoid disappointment. We had an excellent experience after visiting Piccolo Roma on Wednesday evening. From my initial inquiry, making a booking, even arriving at this restaurant, every interaction was professional and friendly. Our meals were delivered piping hot and in good time and the quality and flavour of the meals was some of the best I've eaten.
A nice picnic area is located near the bridge by the trailhead. Your dog MUST be on a leash – per the rules, but also just for safety. I would not attempt this hike if your dog is a puller or if you aren’t sure how your dog will react to steep drop-offs. You’ll start downhill and finish uphill, which is always a bummer, but the elevation is really not bad. Just be sure you stay on the right trail as there is an offshoot leading to a much longer trail.

It’s a small space, including a bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and decking. Black Diamond Bungalow – Situated at the bottom of Hurricane Ridge, Black Diamond Bungalow has easy access to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. Ramblers Home – This country home is conveniently placed a short walk from Port Angeles – it’s like being in the town, but also in nature! Fairholme Campground – Fairholme Campground is spread over 88 sites, which can be booked in advance. There are also flush toilets and potable water available on these sites. Sol Duc Rainforest Retreat– If you love unique nature and wonder where to stay in Olympic National Park, look no further! This campground is located in the heart of the beautiful rainforest, on the site of an ex-homestead. With 9 acres of forest, there are two campsites here.Get $10 credit. The Ozette Triangle Loop is one of the most unique hikes in the park and an incredible introduction to the wild and untamed Olympic coastline. And no matter what time of year you visit, I’d highly recommend bringing along a raincoat - some areas of the Olympic Peninsula receive up to 14 FEET of rain per year! We are planning a 7-day trip to the Seattle area the first week of April and would like to spend 3 days in ONP.

We had a booking earlier but due to very bad traffic we were 45 minutes late. When we got there the restraint was so busy and although we managed to get the table, we were told that the average waiting time to be served was 30 minutes. Because we had the show to watch, we only had less than one hour to eat. The waiter was so efficient and told us that he would do his best.
