Appointments are based on student attendance and unfortunately last minute cancellations do happen if a student is unable to attend class.But don’t worry! You don't need to wear anything special to a Robina beauty salon for treatment. If you need to change clothes for treatment you will usually be provided with a robe or gown to wear during treatment.

Students do to wear gloves in any treatments that may require skin penetration procedures such as Manicures & Pedicures, Microdermabrasion, Peels, Facials & Back Extractions, Waxing, and Brazilians. As our treatments are based on teaching and assessments in the curriculum, students cannot be requested. Requests may be made when students completed 10 of their Student Salon days.

While polish from regular manicures can chip inside a week, gel  nail colour can last up to 3 to 4 weeks with the right care. Gel nails tend to give a more natural and glossier finish than acrylic nails; they are cured under a UV lamp and last for around 2 weeks. Acrylic nails are stronger than gels and start to cure as soon as they’re exposed to air; they generally last for 6-8 weeks but will need fills after 2 weeks to hide regrowth. Both can be used to lengthen nails and both can damage your natural nails.
