Ensure your enrolment is completed as soon as possible to secure your bookings. NO bookings, including for Vacation Care, will be taken without a current enrolment. Out of School Hours Care can cater to 90 of our Pakenham Consolidated School students each session. We have access to other areas of the school such as the Playgrounds, Gymnasium, Computer Lab, Performing Arts, and Master Chef Kitchen. Aspire Pakenham childcare runs regular excursions to the local park, local primary school, Pakenham library, Myuna farm and more. Services Australia calculates and pays it directly to us, reducing your fees. Each child’s Individual Learning Plan is created with their family and reviewed as they grow. It brings together their interests, strengths, developmental goals and educator observations, helping the team plan experiences that are useful and relevant. Before your child’s first day, you may be invited to attend a Stay and Play session. This gives your child time to explore the centre, meet their educators, and start feeling comfortable in their new environment. Once your paperwork is complete, your child is ready to start their early learning journey with us. First, find your local centre and book a tour so you can meet the team and explore the learning environment.

We use the Storypark app as our primary communication tool, providing families with real-time updates on their child’s day, learning journey, and development. Through the app, families can receive photos, videos, and observations from educators, stay informed about upcoming events, and engage in two-way communication at any time. Storypark also allows us to collaborate closely with families, supporting each child’s growth through shared insights and goals. This seamless, secure, and interactive platform helps build meaningful partnerships between our educators and families every step of the way. All meals are thoughtfully planned to align with Australian nutrition guidelines, ensuring every bite supports healthy growth and development. Our skilled chef Amandi leads interactive cooking classes tailored to each age group, encouraging children to discover new flavours and learn new skills.
Rates vary, so up-to-date fees are listed on the Pakenham campus page and provided at tours. After the Child Care Subsidy, most families pay less, and Free Kinder funding reducing costs for 3-6-year-olds. Montessori childcare fees are similar to quality mainstream long day care. The assumption that Montessori is much more expensive isn’t correct once you examine daily rates. Because Montessori childcare cost figures sometimes change, up-to-date Pakenham campus rates are posted on the campus page and shared during tour. Our evidence-based Rhythm and Movement for Self-Regulation (RAMSR) program supports children’s attentional and emotional self-regulation, as well as skills like flexibility, inhibition and working memory.

Since joining Great Beginnings Pakenham, I have worked as a Lead Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager. Each role has given me the opportunity to develop new skills, explore different areas of the sector, and deepen my  passion for ensuring children receive the best possible start to their education journey. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the growth and development of not only the children, but also the families and educators, over time. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and we are proud to be part of that village.
