My daughters had been going there since they were 2.5 years and 6 months old. Tanya and Goldie are very professional and took care of our daughters needs with exceptional care. Henry Family and Children’s Centre is operated by th Cardinia Shire in Pakenham. The community hub also offers Maternal Child Health Service, Irabina Autism Services, playgroups and various community groups. The environment is nurturing and the teaching staff are spectacular. All three of my kids have loved attending here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great kinder.

Management was welcoming the moment we walked through the door, explaining each process in simple easy steps. When we walked into the room for the first time, to be greeted with smiles put this anxious mother’s mind to rest. Couldn’t recommend this centre enough to my family, friends and community. Daniela is almost five years old and can’t wait for today’s carpentry experience - she loves building things! Carpentry experiences allow Daniela and her friends to extend their learning through real-life experiences. While participating in carpentry, Daniela is learning to problem solve, experiment and predict.

During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of roles—including Educator, Kindergarten Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and now Centre Director. Each of these roles has shaped my professional journey and deepened my commitment to delivering high-quality care and education for all children. TheFree Kinder programis designed to ensure all children access the benefits of early learning and give them a strong foundation for a successful school experience. I’m passionate about giving kids the best start in life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and learn during such vital years.
Verbal communication activities – Group games, stories, social interaction, show and tell, and language games. We invite you and your child to experience the ‘Bambini approach’ to explore, learn and create. My son recently began care at this center and had a wonderful experience. Furthermore, they should also promote positive behaviours like good sleep habits, which can benefit children academically and socially. Choosing the right childcare is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. All workers must obtain a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education to work as a childcare assistant.
Dedicated to holistic child development, we have well-equipped outdoor areas that promote learning through play and facilitate the growth of critical social, fine motor, and gross motor skills. Team members stay abreast of new development in childcare, and communicate openly with families, to ensure every child feels accepted and valued. Little Stars also offers a School Readiness Program to help children gain the necessary skills to comfortably transition to primary school, and to become eager and active learners. The centre has a range of age-specific programs where children can play, develop, and participate in a way that reflects their unique strengths and interests. We have a spacious, natural yard that allows the children to engage in out indoor-outdoor program throughout the day. Our yard has space for climbing equipment for children of all ages, two sandpits,  water play, mud play and vast spaces for learning.

Integrated kindergarten programs offered within early learning centres are fee-paying but offset by the Victorian State Government’s free program.
