Mayfield Early Education Bayswater provides high-quality childcare and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Conveniently located on Mountain Highway, our centre is a welcoming and nurturing space for families in the Bayswater community. Our Boronia early learning centre provides a home-like environment where children can explore, learn and develop positive interactions with peers and educators. We strive to build strong relationships with families and work collaboratively to support each child’s growth. Our compassionate educators, many of whom are long-serving and multicultural, reflect our community and work collaboratively to enhance practice through team meetings, professional development and reflection.
Each child has an Individual Learning Plan that reflects their interests, strengths and developmental goals, with educators and families working together to review and update it over time. ‘No Jab No Play’ is the Victorian Government legislation requiring all children to be fully immunised before enrolling in any childcare or kindergarten in Victoria. Our long day care program operates from our Children and Family Centres.
Once your paperwork is complete, your child is ready to start their early learning journey with us. Children develop a strong sense of identity as they feel safe, secure and supported, building confidence, resilience and a positive sense of self. Through group activities, conversations and play, children learn to interact with others with care, empathy and respect, building positive relationships and friendships. At our centres, experienced and qualified educators provide a quality education and care program in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Your child will be welcomed by our team of educators, who will ensure the morning transition from home to centre goes as smoothly as possible. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day. Our meals cater to all dietary requirements, and we have a four-week rotating menu that changes seasonally. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily.
We run a fully accredited kindergarten program and have a local community connection to build strong relationships. We provide learning experiences tailored to each stage of your child’s development. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and designed to support children’s wellbeing, confidence and growing independence. The Bayswater Child Care Association prides itself on our community engagement. At our neighbourhood centre, The DEN, we provide a safe venue for a variety of programs designed to engage and educate children, families and adults from the local community. We seek to promote learning activities and friendships, support minority and vulnerable groups, and assist families in building networks and accessing local support services.

This late cancellation/no-show charge applies to customers who fail to cancel a daycare visit by 5pm the day prior to the reservation. We have lots of fun together, but balance is key, which is why we tailor our services to meet your pet’s needs. Your dog will slowly be introduced to the daycare group, allowing them to interact with other dogs under close supervision and encouraging positive socialisation. Laura brings an extensive background in management and is committed to providing high-quality animal care. She has shown initiative and has made a positive impact with all the dogs that pass through our doors.
We also work closely with external professionals and support agencies to ensure that children with additional needs and their families are included, supported, and empowered to participate fully in both home and centre life.
